“1 in every 3 people does not have safe drinking water”
The lack of access to water is on the rise during the post-pandemic times which results in hygiene issues and further threat to human security. Not to forget the warning to stay safe & healthy by washing hands with soap and water. All this during a time when about 2.2 billion people in the world are living without access to safe water. In this scenario, when the demand for water is increasing the question is, Do We really Value Water?
As we observe, World Water Day on 22nd March 2021, it is time to think about how blessed we are with plentiful bounty of water while others face the scarcity and absence of water to meet their basic needs
ChavaraMatrimony.com in our own little way tries to Make a Difference to the less fortunate by taking action to mitigate this scarcity by setting up a Water Purifier- Installed at Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital, Ernakulam in association with Lions Club.
The Water Purifier installation ceremony was inaugurated by Ln. V. C. James PMJF, First Vice District Governor with the esteemed presence of Rev. Fr. Thomas Puthussery CMI, Director of Chavara Cultural Centre, Sri. Johnson C Abraham, Executive Director ChavaraMatrimony.com, Ln. C. L. Thomson MJF, District Secretary, Ln. Paulose K Mathew MJF, Region Chairperson and other members of the Lions Club of Cochin South.
