International Childhood Cancer Day – February 15, 2022 was observed at Chavara Cultural Centre, Kochi in association with Lions Clubs International District 318C, VLCC Institute of Beauty & Nutrition and Chavara Family Welfare Centre/Chavaramatrimony.com with a Hair Donation Drive – “Share your Hair”. The event was inaugurated by Lions District 318C District Governor Ln. PMJF CA V.C. James. Chief Guest was Ln. Dr. Beena Ravikumar, Additional Medical Superintendent, Amrita Hospital/ Second Vice District Governor. Childhood Cancer Day Message was shared by Dr. Sanju Cyriac, Senior Consultant – Medical Oncology & Hemato Oncology, Rajagiri Hospital, Kochi. The Hair Donation drive was honored by more than 10 donors who willingly donated their hair and received Certificates of Appreciation. On the occasion Jusvin Soy’s birthday was celebrated & all the HOPE beneficiaries gifted with Nutrikits. World Malayalee Council Chairman Saju Kurien, Lion MJF Johnson C. Abraham, and Sunilkumar N.N. Secretary WMC felicitated on the occasion.
